Manual CCRs
Manual closed circuit rebreathers (mCCR's) are as simple as it gets. The mCCR is equipped with oxygen partial pressure (PPO2) monitoring and the user adds oxygen or diluent gases via a constant flow oxygen orifce, or manual addition valves (MAV's).
Electronic CCRs
Electronic closed circuit rebreathers (eCCR's) are far more complex. The eCCR is equipped with electronic controller systems that monitor the oxygen partial pressure (PPO2) and add oxygen automatically. The user can also add oxygen or diluent gases via manual addition valves (MAV's).

The modular design of the Proteus CCR's allows Reb-Tek to offer a wide range of configuration options for the customer.
The modular philosophy also extends to the controller electronics where we offer CCR controllers and PPO2 monitors from a range of suppliers.
